Product Description
With the S200 drive series, Kollmorgen offers low power drive application to maximize automation system performance. The S200 drive coupled with AKM servomotors by Kollmorgen is a complete servo control solution that can be used for electronic assembly, semiconductor fabrication, medical, woodworking and packaging, and much more. With 800 Hz of velocity loop bandwidth, the S200 drive system offers unmatched system performance.
The S20330-VTS is a servo drive that acts as a base unit for the S200 drive system. As a base unit, the S20330-VTS drive features analog velocity and torque. The servo drive unit is driven by DC voltage supply. The S20330-VTS DC drive unit requires 20 – 90 Vdc voltage. At 90 Volt DC, the base unit offers a peak output current of 9 amperes while its continuous current rating is 3 ARMS. The electrical options are also unavailable in the base unit. The S20330-VTS base unit does not have any option cards. The drive unit matches the standard design of Danaher Motion. The typical offset current of the S20330-VTS drive unit is 25 milli amperes (about 0.2%). Even under worst situations, it wouldn’t go beyond 0.5% or 64 mA.
The drive unit offers continuous output convection of 4.5 ARMS below 30 degree Celsius. As the ambient temperature rises, the current convection decreases to 3.0 RMS (at 40 degrees) and 2.3 RMS (at 50 degrees). The peak output power generated by S20330-VTS drive unit is 750 VA while its continuous power output is 250 watts. The maximum motor power cable (whether 18 AWG or 14 AWG) should not exceed 50 meters. The drive does not support 12 AWG cable.
