The S20330-SDS product is a compact servo drive made by Kollmorgen. This drive unit is equipped with state-of-the-art features to outwit the industrial automation revolution. The S200 drive is easy to configure with complete instruction in the user guide that comes along the package. Its configuration includes steps of S200 Tools Software Installation and hardware setup, followed by S200 Tools Communication Wizard. The final step is motor feedback configuration before saving these settings. If connected with a motor having Smart Feedback Device (SFD), the drive unit is engineered to automatically configure most of the parameters. This drive unit can also be configured as an analog current or torque control feedback type. Two configuration switches S1 and S2 are available on the top of device. The S200 drive can be configured not to use the switches. The S2 switch allows four settings (1, 2, 3 and 4) designated as operational mode and Feedback type. While position 3 and 4 is reserved for additional function. This modern servo drive by Kollmorgen comes with latest safety features including motor over temperature detection, excessive motor current protection and control under voltage detection. A status LED in located on the front panel. This LED can also be used to diagnose the error or fault in the device. The servo drive design is optimized to cool through natural convection. During continuous output current, the drive unit is engineered to provide 4.5 Arms when operated in ambient temperature range of 0 to +30 degree Celsius.
