ServoDisc motors feature an iron-less disc armature that enables high performance in incremental motion and continuous speed applications. The ServoDisc armature is not attracted by magnets and has zero cogging. The result is smooth motor rotation at any speed. ServoDisc motors are rated for peak current that is 10 times the continuous rating. The elimination of arcing in ServoDisc motors leads to a very long brush life for most applications. The absence of arcing also leads to no limits on commutation due to speed. A very low electrical time constant enables instantaneous torque. ServoDisc motors are available in a wide range of package sizes and power levels. Length of the U12DNU-A/PA1130 motor is 53.3 millimeters. The diameter of the motor is 139.7 millimeters.
