The PiC 900 is an advanced industrial PC that has been designed for a variety of automation applications. The 502-03814-60R1 is a CPU module within the industrial PC and executes the application program. This model contains a ROM memory that contains the Giddings & Lewis Operating System (GLOS). The RS232 ports built into this model have been designed for facilitating communication between the computer workstation and a user serial interface. The device is also provided with a processor IC that monitors overall control. There is a RAM or EPROM memory in this model that contains the RAM and the application program.
