Product Description
Kollmorgen is a manufacturer of high quality automation products.
The PiC (Programmable industrial Computer) 900 is a combination of hardware and software that allows the users to control applications according to the required specifications. A central processing unit is provided for integrating the hardware and software elements. The 502-03551-02 is a 120/240 V output module that is used to switch voltages for individual loads from AC power sources. Each external AC source is nominally 115 VAC. It can be between 48 to 240 Volts. The device comes in a 16 point configuration. There are 16 LEDs in the upper section of the module that has been provided to indicate the logic state of each output. If any active circuit is open or missing, another LED (labeled FB) turns on. Another LED labeled DIAG LED goes on briefly while the diagnostic tests are running.
The 502-03551-02 operates on a nominal 115 VAC with a range of 48 to 240 VAC. The module is provided with optical isolation between the logic and field sides. The system comes with multiple groups of solid state switches where each output group uses its own AC source. The device has a maximum field side power dissipation of 12 W. This model is used in the optimum temperature range of 7 °C to 55 °C. The device can be stored in the -40 °C to 85 °C temperature range. This model is CE marked and conforms to the relevant European standards. This model has a 4 mA leakage current in the OFF state when it is operated at 120 VAC. The leakage current rises to 6 mA when the device is used at 240 VAC.
