The Kollmorgen 502-03518-03 is an 8-channel ±10 Volts DC output module. The module converts a 16-bit digital word to a ±11 Volts analog signal for each of the 8 module channels. Field side connector on the module is a 25-pin card edge connector with screw terminals. Resolution of the 502-03518-03 is 16 bits or 65536 steps over the full output range. The nominal voltage for the 502-03518-03 is ±11 Volts DC. The voltage accuracy at 11 Volts is ±5%. The maximum output current at ±10 Volts is ±10 milliamps. The output update time increment is 32 microseconds. The module output voltage after power up is 0 Volts ±20 millivolts. In response to a scan loss, all outputs on the 502-03518-03 reset to 0 Volt ±20 millivolts. Short circuit protection is provided in the form of current limited outputs.
