The PC833-001-N model is widely used in the international market to control the options of the AC synchronous motors by Kollmorgen. The servo drive module should only be operated by certified persons. The PC833 brushless servo drive is specially designed to take input power from both single-phase and 3-phase AC 90 – 265 V power sources and the required input voltage frequency for this unit is 50 – 60 Hz. At 25 degree Celsius, the continuous current required by the unit is 3.6 A, and it delivers the continuous output power of 1.5 kW at 240 VAC single-phase and three-phase power sources. The PC833 brushless servo drive delivers the continuous output current of 6 A at three-phase 240 VAC and 12 A at single phase 240 VAC power voltage. The maximum 800 W of continuous power is dissipated by this unit and the maximum external regenerative duty cycle of this servo drive is 6%. For high performance, the PC833 single-axis brushless servo drive should be mounted under the ambient temperature range of 0 to +40 degree Celsius.
The model PC833-001-N is designed to perform ideally under the humidity range of 90% (without condensation) and it can be mounted at the maximum height of 1500 m/sea level. The PC833 module comes in a standard design and no accessories are supplied along with this unit. The operating parameters and the software can be configured by using “Pacific Scientific 380 tools”. The motor parameters such as torque, velocity, and position can be controlled by this unit. The unit is fully protected against “normal” abuse and two status LEDs are placed at the front of the unit to indicate the status of the drive. While installation, make sure that the mounting surface is capable to support the weight (2 kg) of the drive and is connected to the PE.
