The PC832-001-N model represents the latest technology of Kollmorgen and is mainly used to control the operations of the brushless servo motors. The PC832 single-axis brushless servo drive is only designed to operate with the supply module and servo motor prescribed by the supplier. The unit provides 98% of performance efficiency when used according to the operating and mounting conditions specified in the documentation. The module is capable of controlling the torque, position, and velocity of the attached servo motor through its analog, incremental digital pulse, and serial port commands. The PC832 single-axis brushless servo motor is designed to make an electrical connection directly from the 90 – 265 VAC single/three-phase power source. The operating voltage is supplied by the respective power supply unit. A 1.5 – 3 kVA transformer is suggested for this unit and it consumes the maximum power of 100 kVA from the AC power line. The drive is designed according to the UL standards. The maximum operating temperature for the PC832 drive is +40 degree Celsius, without a reduction in rated data.
The model PC832-001-N is designed to be mounted at the maximum height of 1000 meters above sea level and during installation, make sure that the minimum clearance of 100 mm should be maintained at the top/bottom of the module and 40 mm clearance is maintained at the sides of the unit for sufficient heat loss. The single-axis brushless servo drive delivers the continuous output current of 2.7 A while delivering the continuous output power of 550 W to 1.1 kW.
