Product Description

The P70530-PNN is a DC drive from Kollmorgen in its P7000 series. These drives were made for micro-stepping control. This drive can be setup by installing the P7000 Tools software and following the instructions given in the Setup Wizard. The unit will have hot surfaces and electrically charged components when it is in use. The electrical contact points of the meter must be measured after disconnecting the power source for safety purposes. The drive has a 7.1A peak DC rating and 20VDC to 75VDC voltage rating. The device comes with a one-year warranty period.

The standard drive does not feature either an electrical option or feedback. The unit incorporates step/direction and indexing functionality. The drive has a maximum cable length of 20m and an inductance in 2mH to 15mH range. The drive uses a 10A slow-blow fuse for its operation. The step inputs have a maximum frequency of 2MHz. The direction inputs feature a minimum setup time of 50µs. The input circuitry of the drive is compatible with 5-volt logic. The unit encompasses nine general-purpose inputs that can be configured according to the requirement.

The optically isolated output can be configured to highlight various details like EOT latching, active motion node, motor movement, and more. The drive is compatible with Modbus RTU. Three switches must be set depending on the load-to-rotor inertia ratio to eliminate any resonance that may be present. The unit is capable of sensing the position of the motor shaft at all times. It compares the commanded position with the actual position and stalls the motor when both the positions are apart by more than two steps. The device has 5VDC internal supply at 50mA current rating. We can ship the drive to any address worldwide through our global delivery partners.
