Product Description
The P70360-SDN is an AC high-performance micro-stepping drive from Kollmorgen. It is one of the P7000 series of drives from the manufacturer. The cabinet doors and covers must be kept closed during operation. The unit must not be touched for at least a couple of minutes after the power source is removed. It has a continuous current rating of 2.5A. The device supports the use of a 7A slow-blow fuse. The drive features a maximum power rating of 350W at 120VAC or 240VAC. The unit is available with a one-year warranty period.
The drive features step and direction inputs apart from general-purpose inputs. The direction inputs have a minimum setup time of 55µs. The unit will not have condensation up to a humidity level of 90%. It must be mounted upright on a cold plate with M4 size screws. The device shuts off automatically when the temperature of the heat sink exceeds 70°C. The J4 connector on the drive is a 26-position D subminiature female connector with high density. The drive is fitted with an internal step counter. The directional inputs use a slower optoisolator than the step inputs.
The drive operates between a temperature range of 0°C to 40°C. The general-purpose outputs have a response time of less than or equal to 250µs. The standard unit has no electrical option or feedback. It supports step/direction only functionality. The motor cable has a maximum length of 20m. The step input of the drive must be connected through a shielded cable because of its sensitivity to high-frequency noise. The ENABLE input is filtered digitally and de-bounced internally. The general inputs comprise a common pull up/down optically isolated bus that helps in simplifying the wiring process. The drive can be shipped to any address worldwide through our delivery agents.
