The NEXTSTEP LRES is high quality micro-stepping drive that is designed for long life and durability. This drive is one of the best open-loop positioning systems that increase the system's throughput to unprecedented levels. The device has a compact design that takes up much less panel space as compared to other fully packaged systems. The device has a small footprint that is significantly less compared to other similar platforms. Despite compact dimensions, the system can deliver twice the power in comparison to other micro-stepping drives. This platform comes with all the standard features of a motor and a drive system at a very competitive price. The drive can accept clockwise/counterclockwise step input and can also accept step and direction. There are eight user-selectable drive resolutions available. The NEXTSTEP LRES operates on a standard line voltage and its adjustable motor current waveform ensures smoothness and step to step accuracy. There is a built-in regenerative circuit in this model that safely dissipates energy from large inertial loads.
