The Kollmorgen MTC526SC1-M1C1 is a Goldline XT 50 servo motor. The Goldline series of motors include motors with 90 millimeters, 130 millimeters and 175 millimeters frame lengths. The frame length of the MTC526SC1-M1C1 is 130 millimeters. The Goldline series of motors is available with four different stack lengths including short, medium, long, and extra-long. The MTC526SC1-M1C1 has a long stack length. The rotor inertia of Goldline motors can be either minimum or maximum. The MTC526SC1-M1C1 is a maximum inertia motor. Goldine motors are avaible in 200 Volts AC and 400 Volts AC ratings. The MTC526SC1-M1C1 is a 400 Volts AC rated servo motor. Options for connectors on Goldline motors include rotatable connectors with or without CE compliant plugs. The rotatable connectors on the MTC526SC1-M1C1 do not include the CE compliant plugs.

Goldline motors can be ordered with IP65 or IP67 ratings. The MTC526SC1-M1C1 is IP65 rated. Goldline motors can be ordered with motor shafts that are with or without a shaft seal. The shaft on the MTC526SC1-M1C1 motor does include a seal. The shaft seal performs a very important function which is to protect the motor bearings. The shaft helps to improve the operating life span of the motor. However, the seal does suffer from wear caused by motor operation. Therefore, the seal needs to be inspected regularly. The shaft seal should be replaced if it degrades to the point where it is not able to perform its intended function. The MTC526SC1-M1C1 motor also supports a 24 Volts DC holding brake. To ensure proper installation as per recommended standards, the motor and associated accessories should only be installed by trained and qualified technical personnel.
