Product Description
The MMC-SD-6.0-460-D is a standalone intelligent drive controller designed by Kollmorgen Automation to provide accurate control of the industrial motors. This drive is built with the latest control technologies, features a strong, compact housing, and can be easily integrated into the servo system. The drive operates with a drive firmware which is installed in a user upgradable flash memory; there is also an integrated serial port for communication with a higher control system. Apart from the serial port, this product features Eight general purpose 24 Volts inputs, four general purpose 24 volts outputs, a ±10 volt command input, digital link connections, and an optimal MMC-SD control connector. This product is also CE marked and UL listed.
The MMC-SD-6.0-460-D intelligent drive controller is equipped with a hardware system that is intended to promote the efficient circulation of cool air and the dissipation of heat. Normally, the controller does not need any fans for efficient heat dissipation; however, if it is to be used in an environment with hot or humid air, operators might be required to provide a fan, heat exchanger, dehumidifier or air conditions to ensure that the controller does not overheat. If there is a need to use the controller with any other heat-generating device, operators should place these components near the top of the control cabinet so that the generated heat can be safely dissipated.
The MMC-SD-6.0-460-D intelligent controller weighs about 7.2 kilograms. Under normal operating conditions, it requires a nominal input power of 8.6 kilovolts amperes, and it also requires an input voltage that falls between 207 to about 480 volts. The input voltage should be supplied at a frequency that is between 47 to about 63 hertz. The nominal input current required by this product for optimum operation is about 10.8 amperes.
