Product Description

The SERVOSTAR MC cum servo amplifier is a very fast, reliable, flexible and efficient apparatus that can be used chiefly on the field of precise control of sophisticated machinery. The maximum starting delay is only 2ms with a response time for the digital outputs up to 10ms. In addition, the amplifier has MiniCombicon connectors (12-pin, coded on PIN1 and 12) make several amplifying systems easier to use in industry, being intended for correct fastening in an industrial environment.

Designed for the lead loop resistance 159.8 ohm/km and maximum cable capacitance of 60 nF/km, the capacitors within the cable structures for the SERVOSTAR MC are essential for maintaining the high quality of the signals over extensive distances. The BTB/RTO Contact is one of the safety features which is dedicated to supplying the BTB circuit and is in line with the emergency off circuit. This feature applies where there is a need to change the direction of operations by reversing the drive at certain periods.

The ROD-interface can be used very effectively for incremental positioning, which is required for most positioning tasks. A resolver digital conversion is implemented in the control with the aim of turning an analogue resolvers signal into digital signal, hence the improvements in system reliability and accuracy. Integration of overload contactor supports system protection including phase monitoring further enhancing operational safety and security. Also, the provision of a ring core is helpful in suppression of ferrite-based interference, which is necessary especially in high electrical noise surrounding. For dependable performance, the SERVOSTAR MC has the potential isolation feature, which helps to separate different circuits and eliminate any possible way of interference.
