The M-105-A-34 servomotor is one of the several servo units from Kollmorgen in its M series and is listed under the GOLDLINE range. The motor comes fitted with rare earth magnets that feature high energy. The unit works along with the manufacturer’s SERVOSTAR compact and digital amplifiers that implement PDFF, PI, and Pole Placement control algorithms.  The compact motor is enclosed in a square frame of size ranging between 2.76 inches to 7.48 inches. It comes with an option for supporting front-mounted gearheads.

The motor does not incorporate brushes and is lightweight. The device features IP-65 sealing and Class H insulation. The unit has more than thrice the inertia of the manufacturer’s B series of servomotors. It implements resolver feedback and offers support for encoder feedback. The motor encompasses a large torque/volume ratio. It can be set up easily with the SERVOSTAR amplifier and offers high performance. The amplifier also helps the user have a wide range of options for control over the servomotor. It comprises a rear shaft extension and a built-in thermostat. The unit supports torque control and velocity control operational modes. The amplifier comes with 10% to 90% non-condensing humidity.
