Product Description
The KSM 121 is an expansion module from Kollmorgen for programmable logic controllers. The module supports logic processing up to SIL 3. It houses several control inputs that can serve as substitutes for digital inputs. The unit can perform safety functions by monitoring the external contacts for the connected switch gears. The device also helps in monitoring the cross circuits by the pulse outputs of the basic module. It features a Class 4 architecture style.
The module has a proof-test interval of 20 years. The unit features a 1.5 sq.mm. maximum terminal cross-section. It operates between 0° and 50° C. The accessory can be mounted on standard headrails using snap-on mounting. The device has a pluggable terminal-type of connectors. The expansion module has a backplane bus interface and a 7-segment display along with two sensor interfaces. The unit also includes an emergency stop function button. It features 12 safe digital input lines, out of which 8 lines are of OSSD type. The device is intended for use with KS100 series modules from the manufacturer. We are ready to offer you the KSM series module with a warranty period of one year.
The unit can monitor target position, trend and position range, speed, RPM, and many other parameters. The device can be programmed to a maximum of 800 IL instructions. It also facilitates logic diagram-oriented programming. The monitored relay outputs and LO-SIDE/HI-SIDE outputs help in safety-related functions. The module is equipped with a configuration and diagnostic interface. The digital inputs have a 20mA current rating and 24VDC voltage rating according to EN61131-2 specifications. The expansion unit has a clocking frequency of 150kHz in Master mode and 250kHz in Slave mode. We can send you the module to any address in the world through our several delivery partners.
