The KSM 12-2 is a fail-safe control system in the form of a programmable logic controller. These are made by Kollmorgen. It comprises of two processing units that are independent of each other. The KSM series controller is widely used in emergency stop facilities. It can also operate as a PES unit for both functional safety and risk reduction. The unit is widely used in switch gears.
