Product Description
Kollmorgen’s BH-624-D-41 synchronous servomotor has several windings on each stack. The motor supports a terminal box installation on its frame. The device is very reliable especially in high temperatures because of its Class H insulation system. The motor cable has a maximum diameter of 16.5mm. The unit has a static friction torque of 0.52Nm and a rated torque of 23.7Nm at 400V. This product and the servo amplifier must be commissioned separately in multi-axis systems. The rotor must revolve freely without any grinding noise. The motor provides a precise and reliable operation with its rugged resolver feedback. It is compact and occupies very little space.
The servomotor works with the SERVOSTAR S614 servo amplifier. This product can be mounted on a 1-inch thick aluminum faceplate. It supports a radial force of 650N at the shaft end. The unit has a peak current rating of 44A. The device must be transported between -25°C and +70°C. The motor supports a relative humidity of 5% to 95% without condensation and a climatic category of 2K3 according to EN 50178 specifications during transport. The product must also be protected against shock with special attention to the shaft end when it is being transported. It should be checked for bearing noise after every 2,500 hours of use.
The ball bearings feature a grease packing and must be replaced after the motor is operated for 20,000 hours under rated conditions. The housing of the device can be cleaned with isopropanol or a similar agent when it gets dirty. The unit should not be subject to spraying or an immersing action. The servomotor will not rotate if the phases are in the wrong sequence or if the servo amplifier has not been enabled. It tends to oscillate if the resolver cable shielding is broken. The motor can be delivered to any address worldwide with a warranty period of one year.
