Product Description
The BH-222-B-63 is a synchronous servomotor from Kollmorgen. This servomotor features a brushless and thermal design. It is marketed under the GOLDLINE brand name and is intended for use with a SERVOSTAR 600 digital servo amplifier from the same manufacturer. The device has rare-earth neodymium-iron-boron magnets fitted in its rotors. These magnets feature high energy. The motor has a compact size that helps it to render high torque-to-volume and high torque-to-inertia ratios. The unit is characterized by low inertia that makes it suitable for applications that need rapid deceleration and acceleration. The motor has a maximum length of 236.2mm without brake.
The servomotor features an enameled matt-black finish that does not offer resistance to solvents. The motor encompasses a climatic category of 3K3 according to EN 50178 specifications. Its stator is equipped with a three-phase winding that is driven by the servo amplifier. The device is integrated with a resolver to function as the feedback element. The unit should be operated between ambient temperatures of 5° and 40°C. There are four equidistant mounting holes with a diameter of 5.80mm each. The motor is protected by a normally closed and electrically isolated inbuilt thermostat.
The servo amplifier used with the synchronous motor features servo loops that can be easily tuned. The motor can be mounted in any orientation although the basic mounting style is IM B5 in adherence to DIN 42950 specifications. The axial force of the device must not be more than one-third of its radial force. The resolver is equipped with a two-pole hollow shaft. The product features a vibration class N based on DIN ISO 2373 specifications. The servomotor can be dispatched to any address across the world with a one-year warranty.
