The BH-222-B-63 is a synchronous servomotor from Kollmorgen. This servomotor features a brushless and thermal design. It is marketed under the GOLDLINE brand name and is intended for use with a SERVOSTAR 600 digital servo amplifier from the same manufacturer. The device has rare-earth neodymium-iron-boron magnets fitted in its rotors. These magnets feature high energy. The motor has a compact size that helps it to render high torque-to-volume and high torque-to-inertia ratios. The unit is characterized by low inertia that makes it suitable for applications that need rapid deceleration and acceleration. The motor has a maximum length of 236.2mm without brake.

The servomotor features an enameled matt-black finish that does not offer resistance to solvents. The motor encompasses a climatic category of 3K3 according to EN 50178 specifications. Its stator is equipped with a three-phase winding that is driven by the servo amplifier. The device is integrated with a resolver to function as the feedback element. The unit should be operated between ambient temperatures of 5° and 40°C. There are four equidistant mounting holes with a diameter of 5.80mm each. The motor is protected by a normally closed and electrically isolated inbuilt thermostat.
