Product Description
The B-402-B-A1 brushless B series servomotor with low inertia from Kollmorgen is encased in a square frame of size 4. The motor features screw thread connectors with less mating plugs as its connectivity option. It supports the standard metric mounting option and a rear shaft extension. The unit has a peak line current rating of 18.8A. The brushless device can be combined with the manufacturer’s SERVOSTAR digital amplifier using phase angle advance algorithms. It renders optimum performance for applications that demand fast acceleration and deceleration. The product encompasses a rear shaft extension and a built-in thermostat. The motor can be shipped globally through our logistics network.
The SERVOSTAR amplifier is designed to offer full protection against motor over-temperature. The square frame of the servomotor has a mounting hole at each corner. The pressure on the shaft seal should not increase beyond 30PSI. This device has a thermal time constant of 22 minutes. The screw thread connectors are fitted in such a way that they are perpendicular to the motor. The product makes use of a frameless resolver. The motor is UL Recognized and features Class H insulation. The servo amplifier acts as a power converter that generates a three-phase sinewave current.
The servomotor has a motor constant of 0.587Nm/√W at 25°C. The motor is equipped with four poles. It is branded under the GOLDLINE name. The MOTIONLINK software displays the motor that the amplifier has been programmed to operate with. The software also helps in setting a maximum speed limit for the motor. The motor current and speed can be monitored using the digital oscilloscope function. The motor commutation is achieved through either an encoder or resolver input of the servo amplifier that is connected to the motor. The B-402-B-A1 is backed up with a one-year warranty period.
