The B-206-A-31 is a low-inertia motor that is designed to give the best performance in areas where instantaneous acceleration and deceleration is required. The motor belongs to the GOLDLINE series that features highly functional, low-inertia servo motors. The B-206-A-31 has a 16.7 kg mass and an IP 67 standard protection that ensures protection against oil incursion, dust penetration, and immersion effects in water. The basic configuration of this model can be extended by the help of fail-safe brakes and front-mounted gearheads. If required, mating connectors and NEMA mountings can also be used with this motor. One of the key features of this servo motor is a significantly high torque to volume ratio. This is made possible by the motor's lightweight and compact dimensions. For protection against overheating failure, the system is provided with an in-built thermostat that monitors the winding temperature continuously.
The B-206-A-31 is designed to give optimum performance in all environments. The motor can seamlessly operate underwater because of its specially designed sealant rings. However, it is recommended not to keep the motor submerged for more than 30 minutes if the submersion depth is 6 feet. This model has a resolver based corrective feedback closed-loop control system. The system allows complete autonomous control over the speed and position of servo motors. The closed-loop system is designed to map the actual position and speed values against the programmed values and send corrective signals if there is a difference between the two values. With an explosion-proof design, the servo motor is ideal for operating in dangerous environments.
