Product Description
Over the years, Kollmorgen has created many different types of drives, motors, and servomotors meant for high-precision and dynamic environments. Continuing their brilliance, the company offers Goldline servos featuring three sub-groups: low-inertia motors, medium-inertia motors, and explosion-proof motors. What makes them so unique is their weight, speed, and industry-leading power density. These brushless synchronous motors offer standard-meeting performance when combined with the SERVOSTAR certified amplifiers. The B-204-B-39-016 servomotor gives excellent results when used in combination with a SR10 servo amplifier.
Featuring a weight of 6.2 kg, the B-204-B-39-016 is rated for 1.6 kW on an input voltage of 240 volts. The brushless servomotor has a continuous line current of 5.3 Amps RMS that peaks at 17.2 Amps RMS. This synchronous motor has a rated speed of 3600 RPM and a continuous torque of 4.7 Nm. The brushless servo by Kollmorgen has a top speed of 3600 RPM with its maximum torque approaching to 13.8 Nm. Such high energy, speed, and power come from the rotor that features a neodymium-iron-boron rare-earth magnet. This material offers excellent energy generation on normal voltages. Because it is such a light-weight motor, the B-204-B-39-016 doesn’t necessarily need a holding brake. It’s exceptionally low rotor inertia offers rapid start/stop functionality.
There’s no question about the servomotor going dysfunctional as it offers H class insulation material, built-in thermostat, and an IP65 sealing. This combination allows the servomotor to deliver long-lasting performance without getting overheated. Moreover, B-204-B-38-016 servomotor’s brushless feature makes it absolutely maintenance-free. The servomotor has a square front of size 92mm while its length (excluding 30 mm shaft) is 275.8 mm.
