Product Description
Kollmorgen offers solutions for PLC systems and robotics. The tech firm offers PLC systems, drives, I/O devices, and other hardware. The Goldline series by Kollmorgen offers low-voltage servo motors that deliver extremely dynamic performance. Divided into three groups in terms of inertia, the Goldline servos can meet all kinds of requirements. The B-204-B-23 servomotor represents a group meant for exceptionally low rotor-inertia that makes it accelerate and decelerate rapidly.
The B-204-B-23 Goldline servomotor is small, yet offers a high torque-volume ratio. The brushless servo motor has a box-shaped housing with a square front, and curved protection on the rear to cover to the rear extension of the shaft. The front end of the shaft is exposed and is 30mm long. The lightweight servo features dimensions of 92mm x 92mm x 275.8mm. The motor’s bearing has 80mm diameter, while that of the shaft, it is 14mm. The shaft features a 5-mm key for smooth flow of speed, power, and torque. The top of the housing features angular connectors to support supply cable and the feedback unit. Inside the housing, there’s a built-in thermostat that keeps the components from overheating.
The B-204-B-23 servomotor has a top speed of 6200 RPM. It weighs just over 6 kilograms and can produce up to 2.1 HP power. Its continuous torque is approximately 4.79 Nm. This is possible because of the presence of neodymium-iron-boron material in the rotor, which is meant to produce high energy on low voltage. To survive and operate smoothly under extremely high temperatures, the B-204-B-23 features H class insulation. Moreover, the IP65 sealing protects the motor components from dust, dirt and water splashes.
