The B-204-A-21-S is a servo motor from the GOLDLINE series. The motor’s most prominent feature is its low inertia that helps to attain the best performance when high-speed acceleration is required. The rotor’s moment of inertia is only 0.0001729 kgm². This model produces a 0.81 kW power and its maximum operating speed is 1800 rpm. The motor has a significant torque advantage because its torque remains steady as the speed increases. The B-204-A-21-S is protected in accordance with the IP 67 degree and comes with multiple connector options. The closed-loop feedback system of the motor is supported by a resolver and servo amplifiers. At 40 ᵒC, the motor can continuously generate a 4.47 Nm torque. When the temperature drops to 25 ᵒC, the motor generates a 4.7 Nm continuously. The maximum torque that can be extracted from the motor is 13.7 Nm.

The B-204-A-21-S comes with electromechanical fail-safe brakes and an explosion-proof design. This allows the motor to be used in harsh industrial environments. The servo motor has a high torque to volume ratio. The insulation materials used for the system are from the class H that allows the motor to be operated in temperatures up to 180 ᵒC. With a mass of only 13.6 Kg, the B-204-A-21-S can deliver a 79200 rad/sec² acceleration. Permanent magnets are used in the motor’s interior.
