Goldline series motors are designed to be used with the Kollmorgen Servostar digital amplifier allowing for simplified installation and system set-up. Servostar amplifiers employ patented torque angle control that enhances motor performance and its top of the range sinewave commutation helps Goldline motors to deliver a smooth and precise low-speed control and high-speed performance.

The B-102-A-32 is a servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen. It has a continuous stall torque and a peak stall torque rating of 0.84 N-m and 1.91 N-m, respectively. To lower the maintenance needs, the motor features a brushless design and employs interior permanent magnets allowing it to deliver a high torque and a high-power density. The B-102-A-32 belongs to the low inertia family of motors in the wider Goldline family. Low inertia motors in this series are compact, saving on the valuable space on the factory floor and feature a built-in thermostat for accurate temperature control inside the motor’s frame. With a UL recognition, these motors are primed for global use.

The Kollmorgen B-102-A-32 supports options such as front mounted gearheads, NEMA mountings, and a fail-safe brake. With low inertia rotors and a maximum speed rating of 7500 revolutions per minute, the B-102-A-32 can be used to deliver optimum performance in applications with swift accelerations and decelerations. The motor’s ingress protection can be upgraded to IP 67 when used in environments prone to high levels of moisture or immersion up to one meter deep.
