Product Description
Kollmorgen produces the B-102-A-21 brushless motor under the Goldline series. The series allows you to use several options such as gearheads. They allow the motor to achieve 2.0 to 2549N-m continuous stall torque and much-needed low backlash up to 3 arcs. Using a gearhead will provide you a cost-effective solution for high-torque and low speed applications. A gearhead will improve lifespan of the motor and the bearing since it comes with a self-lubricating system, shares the system torque across three gears, and reduces motor bearing load.
The B-102-A-21 features a metric mount with IP 65 sealing and a rear shaft extension, motor and resolver option connectors that are mounted parallel to the motor. It comes in an A winding design and a motor frame of size 10mm. other options compatible with the motor include a flying lead that provide an unterminated cable, feedback encoder adapter for direct coupling to an encoder in a control cabinet, and an electromagnetic safe-fail brake that can be added to the rear of the motor. The B-102-A-21 has a peak torque of 2.41Nm, peak line current of 7.2A RMS, and a static friction of 0.04N-m.
This Kollmorgen motor has a weight of 2.5kg, 4 poles, and a thermal time constant of 10min. like other low inertia motors, it is an ideal option for applications that require rapid acceleration and deceleration. The integrated thermostat mitigates chances of thermal overload that can damage the motor while the class H insulation material protects it from extreme temperature. To achieve the highest torque and speed, the B-102-A-21 is combined with a SERVOSTAR digital amplifier. Get this Goldline brushless motor from Wake Industrial.
