Product Description
The IL24100A3TRC4 direct-drive linear motor from Kollmorgen is an ironless motor which requires zero-maintenance and features quiet operation. The IL24 series motor has 262 N maximum continuous force and 1600 N peak force. The zero-maintenance because of very few parts in the DDL motor contributes towards lesser maintenance cost of the device and enhanced machine reliability. The device also features nil attractive force and no cogging. The three-phase brushless servo motor comes fitted with a flat rotor and does not include motor mounts, nuts, couplings, bearing blocks, and the like.
The linear motor is widely used in various applications such as wire and tab bonding, wafer slicing, grinding, carpet tufting, and ion implementation to mention just a few. The device uses a Hall Effect device for feedback. The unit features A3 winding code, 4.6 ARMS continuous current and 46.6 +/- 10% Vpeak/m/s L-L back EMF constant at 25° C. It also has 115 g’s maximum theoretical acceleration and MW100 magnetic way type. The flying leads have a length of 1200 mm. The device features various benefits such as high stiffness, very smooth velocity, and high positional accuracy. The direct-drive motor comes with a warranty period of one year. We can send you the motor to any address worldwide through our delivery agents.
The motor connector has shell size 2 and three removable male contacts. The feedback device can be connected to the motor through three mounting holes with 0.25 inches diameter each. The unit has a coil to magnet air gap of 1.12 inches and an overall length of 398.8 mm. The device has 28.1 ARMS peak current, 1.42 +/-15% kg coil assembly weight and 57.0 N/ARMS force constant. The two opposite magnet rows help in generating the maximum thrust force possible and meeting the high instantaneous power requirements.
