The EP3620-1954-7-56BC-CU is an explosion-proof permanent magnet DC motor from Kollmorgen in its EP series range. The motor comes with a non-vented TENV configuration and has Class H insulation to withstand high temperatures. The fields generated by the magnets are light, small, and efficient and delivers a 1750RPM speed. The standard bearings have large seals fitted on them. The gasketed conduit box acts as a large wiring compartment that makes the termination process easy.
The brush springs have a long life and offer constant force. They are equipped with field-replaceable brushes. The motor also includes a polyester impregnated armature that renders mechanical and electrical integrity. The DC unit has 1/3HP power rating, 12V operating voltage and 28A continuous current. It is UL Recognized and CSA Certified. The washdown duty device is 10.38 inches long and weighs 19 LBS. We offer the motor that has quality and rugged construction with a one-year warranty period.
The motor is environmentally protected and has a NEMA 56C face.It is used in several industries such as oil and gas, printing, the material forming and cutting industry, packaging and converting, and more. It comes with 0.52lb-in/A torque constant, 12lbs-in continuous torque, 3.5lbs-in inertia, 0.18mH inductance and 0.04 ohms resistance. The motor has four equally spaced mounting holes, each with 3/8-16 UNC thread type and a 0.75-inch ex socket. The lead has a 0.625-inch diameter.
