Product Description
As a servo amplifier model in the DSA series by Kollmorgen, the DSA 022-460-S is designed with a high degree of flexibility that allows it to be used for various applications. It is a high-performance device that delivers top-notch results in its different configurations through simplified operations. Examples of these configurations are stepper drive substitution, drive for variable speed, and so on. The standard-sized 8.55 kg servo amplifier also facilitates the noiseless operation of brushless motors using advanced control mechanisms.
The input nominal voltage range of the DSA 022-460-S is a three-phase supply from 230 V to 480 V. The input frequency for this voltage is 47 Hz to 63 Hz. It can use an internal shunt with a continuous power of 100 W and peak power of 5.3 kW. Its external shunt has a minimum resistance of 120 Ohms, continuous power of 5kW, and peak power of 5.3KW. The continuous output current of the servo amplifier is 11A, while its intermittent output current is 22 A. It also has an I/O response time of 100 μsec and a digital I/O firmware scan period of 1 ms.
The DSA 022-460-S features a SERCOS interface with which it can act as a slave device in a ring with up to 32 axes. Fast communication within this ring is made possible with fiber optics technology. The amplifier can also be operated using the Windows-compatible DSAPro software tool by Kollmorgen. If a drive replacement is required, the DSA 022-460-S possesses a personality module that holds its setup parameters. This personality module ensures that the existing parameters are transferrable to a replacement unit.
