Product Description
The Kollmorgen 7202-L2/DP is a digital servo amplifier. It is part of the digifas 7200 series. The standard version of the amplifiers supports 4 current types, analog speed set-point, incremental position output, and a holding brake. The standard version of the amplifier does not support position control capability. The digifas 7202-L2/DP belongs to the Profibus Connect version of the amplifier which supports connection to Profibus-DP, four current types, digital setpoint input, positional control in the amplifier and a motor-holding brake. The amplifier can be programmed via the parallel port of a computer running the BS7200 operator software. The rated power input for the digifas 7202-L2/DP is 80 to 400 Volts AC (three-phase, 50 to 60 Hertz). The rated load of the amplifier is 1.7 kVA. The rated intermediate circuit voltage is 560 Volts.
Rated output current of the digifas 7202-L2/DP is 2.8 Amps and the peak current output is 5.6 Amps. Switch-on threshold of the ballast circuit is 720 Amps. The switch-off threshold of the ballast circuit is 680 Amps. Pulse power of the ballast circuit – for 1 second - is 3.2 kilowatts. The internal continuous power of the ballast circuit is 75 Watts. The resolver interface on the digifas 7202-L2/DP is a sub-D 9-pin socket and the PC interface is also a sub-D 9-pin socket. The Profibus interface on the drive is a sub-D 9-pin socket. Weight of the digifas 7202-L2/DP is 2.1 kilograms and the dimensions of the servo amplifier are 275 x 71 x 235 millimeters. The permissible ambient temperature range for servo operation is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. Between 45 and 55 degrees Celsius the servo output derates at a rate of 2.5% per K.
