Product Description
The Digifas 7202 is an industrial servo drive amplifier designed by Kollmorgen to control the speed and general operation of the 6SM synchronous motor used in industrial production systems. This device is an environmentally friendly device that does not generate a high amount of noise during operation. It contains a high metal content that allows it to be easily recycled and used in the production of new devices once its usefulness and a servo drive amplifier have been exhausted. The Digifas 7202 servo amplifier can operate with four current types, it contains an analog speed-set point input, incremental position output, and a controllable motor holding brake.
The Digifas 7202 servo drive amplifier does not contain an elaborate internal temperature regulation system; the heat it generates is regulated via natural convection; thus, the amplifier should be installed in a position that allows for the easy flow of cool air around the device. The 7202 industrial servo amplifier receives electrical voltage from the power supply system through a three-phase electrical connection; this connection electrical connection is integrated into the amplifier to allow it receives the high electrical density it requires for optimum operation. The electrical components of this servo drive amplifier can generate a leakage current of about 3.5 milliamperes; it is thus important for the operator to ensure that the converter is securely connected to a grounding system before it is operated.
The rated power supply voltage required by this controller for optimum operation falls between 80 to about 400 volts, while the rated intermediate circuit voltage for the amplifier is about 560 volts. Only operators that have been well trained should be allowed to carry out configuration, operation, and installation operations on this industrial amplifier.
