Product Description
Kollmorgen has prevailed in the industry of industrial automation, continuously innovating and providing new solutions for factory operators. Their latest range of CT Series step motors make use of groundbreaking technology to provide higher torque at all speeds and an efficient operation in the factory. The CT Series motors by Kollmorgen have two windings that are energized by DC current.
Through the reversal of current in each winding, both the positioning and speed of the CT motor can be easily and precisely controlled, making them extremely useful for a wide range of motion control solutions. For even finer and smoother operations in the factory, Kollmorgen provides micro-stepping drives which divide each resolution into smaller increments by precisely controlling the magnitude of current in each winding. The performance of these innovative motors by Kollmorgen is highly dependent upon the current and voltage supplied by a drive. However, since Kollmorgen is a firm believer of adaptability and flexibility, the CT series of step motors are widely available with a range of windings making them compatible with many drives with different voltage and current ratings.
Kollmorgen’s CTP11ELF17MAA00 step motor is part of the Cool Torque Performance Series which is strategically designed to provide higher efficiency levels. The CTP11ELF17MAA00 motor features a frame size of 17 or 4.2 cm with 1 stack length. Kollmorgen’s CTP11ELF17MAA00 can be mounted using English tapped holes with a construction and connection style of leads. There are four connections on the CTP11ELF17MAA00 motor, making it adaptable and efficient enough to be used for multiple motion control applications. In order to operate the motor effectively, the CTP11ELF17MAA00 features a bipolar winding current of 1.7 Amps. Kollmorgen’s CTP11ELF17MAA00 motor is also equipped with a metric front shaft option, which is available for the size 17 motors only. The CTP11ELF17MAA00 motor does not have any rear options, making it a non-customized standard motor manufactured by Kollmorgen.
