Product Description
The Kollmorgen CR10560 is a Servostar series amplifier which belongs to the CD Series 5 product line. The Series 5 amplifiers are an upgrade from the Series 2 amplifiers and supports several advanced features. The new features on Series 5 amplifiers are possible due to an upgrade on the UCB2 digital control board. The output current of the CR10560 is 10 Amps which can go up to a maximum value of 20 Amps for 2 seconds duration. The amplifier only works with 230 Volts AC three-phase input. Series 5 amplifiers with 03 Amps and 06 Amps output ratings, on the other hand, support both single-phase and three-phase input over the 0 to 230 Volts AC voltage range. The output PWM frequency is 8 kilohertz and the PWM motor current ripple is 16 kilohertz.
The CR10560 has a continuous current input of 13 Amps which can increase to 26 Amps for 500 milliseconds. The power input of the amplifier is 4.6 Amps. The amplifier supports resolver feedback. The control interface is analog. The logic power rating is 24 Volts DC. The amplifier supports multiple protection mechanisms: these include undervoltage trip with a 90 Volts DC threshold, overvoltage trip with a 430 Volts DC threshold and overtemperature trip with an 80 degrees Celsius threshold. The ambient conditions recommended by Kollmorgen are 5 to 45 degrees Celsius operating temperature, 0 to 70 degrees Celsius storage temperature and 10 to 90% operating relative humidity. The environment, where the CR10560 amplifier operates, should be free of corrosive gases and dust. Operation of the drive amplifier at altitudes that exceed 1000 meters leads to output derating and should therefore be avoided.
