Product Description
Kollmorgen manufactures world-leading technology in the field of industrial automation. The company provides services in developing various motion control devices such as servo amplifiers, synchronous motors, and inverter units.
The CR10551 model reflects the latest motion control technology of Kollmorgen. The model is designed to be installed under the ambient environmental temperature range of +5 to +45 degree Celsius. The CR10 servo amplifier should only be mounted in the switchgear cabinet of the IP54 protection standard owing to its IP20 protection category. The unit is engineered to operate at the 3-phase rated voltage of 230 VAC with ±10% augmentation. The model consumes 4.6 kVA of rated power with the rated current requirement of 13 A to deliver the continuous power of 3.5 kVA along with the output current of 10 A. The peak current requirement of the unit is 20 A for max. 2 seconds. The CR10 servo amplifier comes with a switching frequency of 8 kHz and 15 line fuses are installed in this unit. During continuous operation, the model dissipates the maximum energy of 132 W, and a heat sink is attached to the unit for cooling purposes. The minimum clearance distance of 0.5 inches should be maintained side-to-side and 2.5 inches of clearance should be maintained at the top and bottom of the amplifier.
The model CR10551 belongs to the SERVOSTAR CD system of Kollmorgen and should only be used together with the AC synchronous servo motor designed by Danaher Motion. The amplifier also provides an option for controlling the holding brake and for monitoring the temperature of the attached AC motor. An external shunt regulator of 20 Ohms is attached to the motor that helps in dissipating the continuous power of 200 W. A 24 VDC power supply is also attached to the unit to supply the required control voltage to the servo amplifier. A single-digit status display is also attached to this unit for diagnostic purposes.
