The CE10560-S is one of the most efficient and sophisticated servo drives designed by Kollmorgen to control the speed acceleration and general operation of synchronous permanent magnet motors used to generate kinetic energy for industrial production systems. This servo drive is unlike convectional industrial devices as it contains a sophisticated user panel through which operators can carry out real-time modification of the configuration parameters used for the servo drive. The servo drive is also designed with a seven-segment display unit that displays information concerning the operational status of the servo drive; this information is displayed in the form of shortcodes whose meanings are clearly explained in the documentation of the drive.
The CE10560-S industrial servo drive contains an internal air blower that operates to dissipate the excess heat generated in the controller's housing. To facilitate the efficiency of this power control device, the controller should be installed with a minimum clearance of about 80 millimeters; this is to allow for the easy flow of cool air in the servo system. The communication between this servo drive and all other parts of the servo system is carried out according to the SERCOS communication interface; thus, it is very fast and efficient.
