The CE03550 is a servo motor drive amplifier designed by Kollmorgen to improve industrial production by carrying out accurate motion control in the industrial servo system. This drive amplifier is a step higher than convectional amplifiers used in the industrial servo system. It features a new DSP control technology, additional input-output interfaces, and a lower-cost topology for resolver conversion. The CE03550 servo motor drive controller features a display unit used to communicate information relating to the power status, communication error, and general operational status of the controller. This display unit is very important, and it helps operators understand what is going on in the housing of the amplifier without having to open up the device.
The CE03550 motor drive amplifier is designed according to the international quality standards; thus, it operates with an efficiency of about 95 percent and can maintain this high efficiency for more than five years without experiencing any major mechanical failure. To prevent electrical accidents caused by the leakage current generated by the CE03550 amplifier during operation, all parts of this amplifier must be securely connected to the grounding connection.
