The CE03250 is an AC drive that is part of the CD Series 2 product line from Servostar. Typical applications for the drive include electronic assembly and packaging. Servostar recommends the following minimum clearances for a mounted drive unit: 2.5 inches for the top and bottom sides and 0.5 inches on the left- and right-hand sides. If these clearances are not provided, then air will not be able to circulate freely, and the ambient temperature will exceed recommended limits. The recommended ambient temperature for drive operation is 5 to 45 degrees Celsius. The drive is programmed to shut off at 80 degrees Celsius. The internal heat dissipation of the drive is 60 Watts. The ambient relative humidity should be between 10 and 90%. The altitude of the installation site should be less than or equal to 1000 meters.

At higher altitudes the drive output will derate. Vibration rating of the CE03250 is 0.5 g. Dimensions of the CE03250 are 9.61 x 2.65 x 6.42 inches. The drive can operate over input voltages ranging from 110 to 230 Volts AC. Both single-phase and three-phase AC input is supported. The rated continuous current at the output of the drive is 3 Amps. Feedback is supported through a built-in incremental encoder. The drive supports standard 230 Volts logic input. Configuration and programming of the CE03250 are carried out through the Motionlink software. This software operates on a Windows-based computer and communicates over serial links with the CE03250 drive unit. A seven-segment status display on the CE03250 indicates four types of states including steady-state, power-up, flashing state and momentary state.
