The SERVOSTARCD, serves nothing less than an industrial grade servo amplifier. This board will not work unless there is a Windows-compatible graphics adapter and a processor with at least the power of Pentium II. The amplifier has a beginning delay not greater than 2ms and a maximum output response time to digital outputs of 10 ms allowing for effective control. That bridges the base of the output for the incremental position and the resolver ISDN, a resolver/digital converter for the shift from an analog resolver situation to a digital output. For safety and reliability, the SERVOSTAR CD has a power contactor with phase detection feedback isolation, and RF choke to eliminate harsh electrical noise, and use isolation to physically separate and remove circuits from the electrical system.

Qualified personnel should be engaged in all transport operations when using the original recyclable packaging supplied and designed for this purpose in transport of the SERVOSTAR CD to eliminate shocks and risk of damage. Storage conditions should be in the range of-25oC to +70oC with temperature change of maximum 20oC/hr and relative humidity up to 95% without condensation.

As these devices have electrostatics sensitive parts, the servo amplifier should be treated with care to avoid damage; personnel should discharge themselves prior to using and avoid illuminating materials such as plastic films and artificial fabrics. The amplifier, in storing or in handling or carrying should be positioned preferably on a conductive mat or other surface to avoid static outage.
