Product Description
The AKM64K-ANANR-70 is a synchronous servomotor manufactured by Kollmorgen. The motor is intended to be driven by a SERVOSTAR servo amplifier. The unit must be operated only under the ambient conditions specified in the product documentation. The device has a flange size of 138 mm and its rotor length is 4. The servomotor is equipped with a smooth shaft and it does not have a shaft seal. The unit has ball bearings which should be replaced after 20,000 operating hours under rated conditions. Once every 2,500 hours, the motor should be checked for bearing noise and if any noise is detected, the bearings must be replaced.
The AKM servomotor is equipped with a resolver as the feedback element. The servo amplifier used evaluates the resolver position and supplies sinusoidal currents to the servomotor. The basic mounting style of the device is IM B5 and the insulation material is class F. The motor has a peak current of 27.5 A and a peak torque of 53.5 Nm with a tolerance of +/- 10%. The mains voltage of the device is 230 to 480 VAC. The rated speed of the servomotor at 400 V is 2000 per minute.
At the time of installation, care should be taken so that the site is free of conductive and aggressive material. Unimpeded ventilation should also be ensured for the motor. Permissible flange and ambient temperatures should be observed. In the case of ambient temperature above 40°C, the applications department of Kollmorgen should be consulted well in advance. When the device is energized, its electrical connections must not be undone, as a dangerous voltage can still be present on the capacitors (for up to five minutes) even after switching off the mains supply. The motor should never be connected directly to the mains supply.
