The Kollmorgen AKM63K-ACCNR-00 is a brushless servo motor with a high dynamic response. It has a rated maximum mechanical speed of 6000 revolutions per minute and maximum rated DC bus voltage of 640 Volts DC. To reach optimal performance, the motor has to be operated in an environment with a surrounding temperature not exceeding 40 degrees Celsius. To effectively monitor and control the temperature inside the motor’s frame, the AKM63K-ACCNR-00 features a thermistor in its windings. The motor belongs to the AKM series. Motors in this series offer best-in-class performance, flexibility, ease-of-use, and faster commissioning.
The AKM63K-ACCNR-00 has a frame size of 138 millimeters and standard customizations. By employing a resolver for feedback, the motor is capable of maintaining precise positioning even when operated in relatively harsh industrial environments. The AKM63K-ACCNR-00 is ideal for use in industries such as, but not limited to, printing, converting, packaging, and robotics. For optimal performance, the motor should be controlled by a Kollmorgen AKD drive. Apart from controlling, this drive minimizes the set-up time due to its plug-and-play functionality.
