The Kollmorgen AKM62K-GNCNR-00 is a synchronous servomotor in the AKM series, designed for use in industrial environments. The motor doesn’t have brushes as the servo amplifier used performs the commutation electronically. The device is coated in matt black using polyester powder coating. The finish is not resistant to solvents such as nitro-thinners and trichloroethylene. The servomotor has ball bearings. The ball bearings should be replaced after 20,000 hours of operation under rated conditions. The motor has rotatable angular connectors to facilitate power supply and feedback signals. The AKM servomotor comes with a flange size of 138 mm and a rotor length of 2. It is equipped with a resolver feedback device. The device has a standstill torque of 12.2 Nm and a standstill current of 9.6 A. The maximum bus voltage rating of the motor is 640 VDC. The product features K type winding and has a smooth shaft design. The rotor moment of inertia of the servomotor is 17 kgcm² with a tolerance of +/- 10%. The permissible relative humidity rate of the motor is 95% without condensation. The motor should never be connected directly to the mains supply. There are 10 poles in the device. Only qualified and trained personnel must clean and maintain the device. Extreme caution should be exercised when handling and transporting the motor. It is important to ensure that the components of the motor do not bend and the insulation clearances are not altered. The site where the servomotor is placed should be free from conductive and aggressive material. When the product is mounted with its shaft end facing upwards, the user must ensure that liquids don’t enter the bearings.
