Product Description
The AKM62G-ACC2DB00 is a synchronous servomotor manufactured by Kollmorgen. The motor is intended for demanding servo applications. Combined with a digital servo amplifier from the same manufacturer, the device is suited for positioning tasks in machine tools, industrial robots, transfer lines, and similar applications with high requirements for stability and dynamics. The unit has permanent magnets in the rotor that drive the motor in a dynamic fashion. There is a three-phase winding integrated into the stator; it is driven by the servo amplifier used. The servomotor doesn’t have any brushes, as commutation is done electronically by the servo amplifier.
The AKM servomotor has a flange size of 138 mm and a rotor length of 2. Its winding type is G. The device comes with a keyway shaft and is equipped with the EQN1x25 feedback system. The product has angular connectors which can be rotated. The motor has a standstill torque of 11.9 Nm and a standstill current of 4.9 A with a tolerance of +/- 10%. The rated speed of the unit at 400 V is 1800 per minute. The torque constant of the device is 2.47 Nm/A and its voltage constant is 159 mV/min. The thermal time constant of the product is 20 minutes.
The site of installation of the AKM servomotor must be free of conductive and aggressive material. In the case of IM V3 mounting, care should be taken that no liquids enter the motor’s bearings. If an encapsulated assembly is required, Kollmorgen should be consulted beforehand. The servomotor should receive unimpeded ventilation. The user should maintain the permissible ambient and flange temperatures. For ambient temperatures over 40°C, the applications department of Kollmorgen should be consulted beforehand. When wiring and assembling the product, it is vital to ensure that the device is de-energized in order to prevent dangerous consequences.
