The AKM54L-CCC2LB00 is a synchronous DC servomotor manufactured by Kollmorgen. The device is primarily designed for use in servo applications. The unit has permanent magnets in its rotor. The product is coated in matt black color using polyester powder coating. The finish is not resistant to solvents like trichloroethylene and nitro-thinners. The motor features a keyway shaft. There is a 24V holding brake incorporated in this product. The holding brake is directly controlled by the servo amplifier used.
The standard weight of the AKM servomotor is 9 kg. The device has a flange size of 108 mm and a rotor length of 4. It features L type winding. The servomotor permits a radial load of 450 N at the shaft end at 3000 per minute with a tolerance of +/- 10%. The device exhibits a peak current of 37.5 A and a peak torque of 37.5 Nm. The maximum bus voltage rating of the motor is 640 VDC. The device can be connected using a three-phase network. When the motor is live, its surface can be very hot, according to its protection category. The surface temperature of the motor can exceed 100?C. Before touching the motor, it should be turned off, the temperature of its surface should be measured, and the user should wait until the temperature drops below 40?C.
Extreme caution should be exercised when housing, operating, and maintaining the AKM servomotor. The motor housing must be earthed safely to the PE busbar in the switch cabinet. Low-resistance earthing is important for personal protection. It must be noted that because the motor?s voltage level is not displayed in the optical displays, it does not mean that there is an absence of voltage. Even when the motor shaft is not rotating, the power connections can carry voltage. The use of this device is prohibited in environments where there are explosive materials and electrically conducting bases, acids, vapors, oils, and dust.
