Product Description
The AKM54K-ANCNR-00 is a synchronous brushless DC servomotor from the house of Kollmorgen. The rotor length of the unit is 4 and there are permanent magnets in the rotor. Along with a digital servo amplifier from the same manufacturer, the servomotor is used largely for positioning tasks in machines or apparatus with high requirements for dynamics and stability. The power derating of the unit (currents and torques) is 1% / K in the range of 40°C to 50°C and up to 1000 meters above mean sea level. The device can be connected using a three-phase industrial supply network.
The servomotor is precision equipment. At the time of assembly and storage, the flange and shaft are quite vulnerable, so one should avoid brute force. The motor has a thermal time constant of 31 minutes. The servomotor comes with rotatable angular connectors for power supply and feedback signals. The device has a standstill torque of 14.4 6 Nm and a standstill current of 9.7 A with a tolerance of +/- 10%. The rotor moment of inertia of the unit is 12 J. The motor has a maximum bus voltage rating of 640 VDC. The device incorporates a smooth shaft.
Wherever possible, only backlash-free, frictionally locking couplings or collets must be used. The coupling must be correctly aligned. If there is a displacement, it will lead to improper vibration and the couplings and bearings will be damaged or destroyed. The AKM servomotor has ball bearings, which must be replaced after 20,000 hours of operation under rated conditions. The device must be checked for noise in the bearings once every 2500 operating hours. If any noise is detected, the operation of the servomotor should be stopped, and the bearings must be replaced.
