The AKM53M-ANC21-00 is a brushless DC servomotor manufactured by Kollmorgen. The motor is intended for demanding servo applications. Its rotor has permanent magnets. The motor does not have brushes, because commutation is done electronically by the servo amplifier used. The product is enameled in matt black, and the finish is non-resistant to solvents like trichloroethylene and nitro-thinners. The device has a smooth shaft and is equipped with a Comcoder with a 1024 PPR feedback system. The AKM servomotor features a spring applied holding brake (24V DC) integrated into it.
