Product Description
The AKM53K-ANC2R-00 is a synchronous industrial motor produced by Kollmorgen to operate in combination with the AKD drive controller and function as a reliable and efficient source of kinetic energy for industrial production and processing machines. This industrial motor is a compact device that delivers about 47 percent more shaft power than conventional industrial machines. The housing of the motor provides protection according to the IP65 protection class, this makes it possible for the motor to maintain its intended high operational standards even when it is being used in unfavorable environmental conditions. The AKM53K-ANC2R-00 industrial motor communicates operates with exceptionally low cogging, its unique housing design also carries out increased thermal dissipation which yields higher performance in a small package.
The AKM53K-ANC2R-00 contains the class F high density windings which contains temperature sensors that provides thermal protection by preventing overheating. The installation of this industrial motor into the servo system should be carried out carefully and by a well trained engineer, multiple mounting standards are available to meet common European, North American and Japanese standards. The AKM53K-ANC2R-00 features rotatable double connectors through which the power and the motor feedback cables enter into the housing of the motor. The electrical cables required for the power and the motor feedback connection of the motor to the drive controller are expected to be ordered as a separate unit from Kollmorgen.
The AKM53K-ANC2R-00 industrial motor operates with a continuous input current of 9.4 amperes when it is at a standstill, it also generates a standstill output torque of 11.6 newton meters. At an input voltage of 480 volts, this industrial motor generates a rated power output of 3.23 kilowatts and operates at a rated speed of about 4500 revolutions per minute.
