Product Description
The AKM52K-ANSNDB02 synchronous servomotor from the house of Kollmorgen is designed to provide best-in-class performance coupled with industry-leading power density. The motor is significantly low cogging and features low harmonic distortion, thereby ensuring smooth performance. It is easy to commission and use with full-frequency autotuning and plug-and-play motor recognition. Its weight is 5.8 kg. The AKM servomotor doesn’t come with brushes. Commutation is performed electronically by the servo amplifiers. The user should operate the device only under the ambient conditions defined in the product documentation.
The servomotor comes with a flange size of 108 mm and a rotor length of 2. It features winding type K and is incorporated with special connectors. The feedback option provided in the device is EQN1x25. The unit must never be connected to the mains supply directly. The thermal contact integrated in the servomotor windings should be observed and evaluated. The standstill torque of the servomotor is 8.60 Nm and its standstill current is 9.3 A. The maximum mains voltage of the motor is 480 VAC. The torque constant of the device is 0.93 Nm/A and the voltage constant is 60.1 mV/min-1.
The motor comes with ball bearings, which should be replaced after 20,000 hours of operation under rated conditions. The motor should be checked for the bearing noise once every 2500 operating hours. In the case of noises, one should stop the operation of the motor and replace the bearings. Wherever possible, the user should use only backlash-free, frictionally-locking couplings or collets. The coupling should be aligned correctly. A displacement will lead to unacceptable vibration and the bearings and the coupling will be damaged or destroyed.
