The AKM51G-ACCNR-00 synchronous servomotor belongs to the AKM series and can produce impressive amounts of torque under different loading conditions. With a standstill torque of 4.75 Nm and standstill current of 4.84 A, the motor has a top speed of 6000 rpm. The distinguishing feature with this model is that it can produce its maximum torque throughout its speed range. At 480 V mains voltage, the motor can clock 6000 rpm and can produce a 1.94 Nm torque and 1.22 kW power. The AKM51G-ACCNR-00 falls in the climatic category 3K3 and can easily operate within a 95 % relative humidity range.

The motor has a very low moment of inertia (only 3.4 kgcm²). This low moment inertia plays a crucial role when instant start-stop operation is required from the motor. The motor’s negative feedback system works efficiently and records the resolver’s position at each instant. With the help of SERVOSTAR servo amplifiers, sinusoidal signals are generated to adjust errors in values of position, speed or torque. The AKM51G-ACCNR-00 comes with strong permanent magnets that are made from the rare earth neodynium iron boron metal. Owing to superior build quality, the motor can perform smoothly in a wide temperature range (5 ᵒC to 40ᵒC). Finally, the outer body of the motor is protected against the build-up of dust particles and water jets.
