The AKM44G-ACCNAA-00 is a synchronous DC servomotor manufactured by Kollmorgen. The motor is primarily designed for use in servo applications. The device has permanent magnets in its rotor. The servomotor is coated in matt black color using polyester powder coating. The finish isn’t resistant against solvents like trichloroethylene and nitro-thinners. The unit features a keyway shaft and an Acuro(Biss) Single Turn feedback system. There is a holding brake incorporated in this product. The standard weight of the AKM servomotor is 3.39 kg. The motor permits a radial load of 450 N at the shaft end at 3000 per minute with a tolerance of +/- 10%. The unit has a peak current of 19.2 A and a peak torque of 11.5 Nm. The maximum bus voltage rating of the motor is 640 VDC. The motor can be connected using a three-phase network. When the motor is live, its surface can be very hot, as per its protection category. The surface temperature can exceed 100°C. Before touching the motor, turn it off, measure the temperature of its surface and wait until the temperature drops down below 40°C. Extreme caution should be exercised when housing, operating, and maintaining the motor. The motor housing should be earthed safely to the PE busbar in the switch cabinet. Low-resistance earthing is crucial for personal protection. It should be noted that just because the motor’s voltage level is not displayed in the optical displays, it doesn’t mean there is an absence of voltage. Even when the motor shaft isn’t rotating, the power connections can carry voltage. The use of this product is prohibited in environments where there are explosive materials and electrically conducting acids, bases, vapors, oils, and dust. The device should not be directly connected to the mains supply network as well.
