Product Description
The AKM42G-ACCN2-00 is a synchronous servomotor from the brand Kollmorgen. It functions with a SERVOSTAR digital servoamplifier designed by Kollmorgen. The AKM42 series motor and its resolver feature UL Listed leads that are ideal for trailing and have a lifetime of one million bending cycles. The motor casing and the mounting plate of the servoamplifier must be earthed properly during installation. The motor chokes must be installed as close as possible to the servoamplifier. The power and resolver connections have to be carried out using only the preassembled shields. The resolver and encoder cables have a cross-sectional area of 0.25sq.mm.
The motor and resolver leads have capacitances of less than 150pF/m and 120pF/m respectively. The resolver connection is established through 12 angular and round poles. The belt pulley, gear unit and clutch must be seated correctly when the connection is set up. The servo device has a rotor moment of inertia of 1.5kgcm2, rated power of 1.48kW and a rated torque of 2.35Nm at 480V. The motor does not incorporate a holding brake and is integrated with a comcoder that has 2048 PPR resolution for feedback. The device must be disposed only with the assistance of a certified disposal company. The servomotor can be delivered to any address across the world.
The synchronous motor has a voltage constant of 47.5mVmin and torque constant of 0.74Nm/A. The device can withstand a maximum axial load of 180N at the shaft end when it rotates at 3000min-1. The radial force must not go beyond the specified limit when the motor is driven using toothed belts. The motor tends to run away or will not rotate when the connection of the phases is wrongly sequenced. The unit should not be stored at temperatures below 25°C and above 55°C. The servomotor is available with a warranty period of one year.
